Title: Decomposing Entropy Productions by Double Control Parameters
(Submitted on 3 Jun 2014 (v1), revised 11 Nov 2014 (this version, v5), latest version 20 Aug 2015 (v7))
Abstract: As very well known, the second law of thermodynamics is violated by thermal fluctuation in microscopic levels. Even in macroscopic levels, there exist negative entropy productions, for instances, Schroedinger's negative entropy feeding living things or organisms. We solve the problems in a system controlled by a schedule of double control parameters. By including thermal fluctuation in system entropy production, the violation of the second law in microscopic level is settled. We find negative and compensating entropy productions in out-of-equilibrium processes. Negative entropy production is generated in system, and which is compensated in reservoir by compensating entropy production. Because both of them belong to so-called non-adiabatic contribution in the three detailed (or integral) fluctuation theorems, the second law of thermodynamics is not violated by negative entropy production in driven out of equilibrium processes.
