Title: A Fulton-Hansen theorem for almost homogeneous spaces

Abstract: We prove a generalization of the Fulton-Hansen connectedness theorem, where ${\mathbb P}^n$ is replaced by a normal variety on which an algebraic group acts with a dense orbit.
