Title: Quantum Phase Space Description of a Cosmological Minimal Massive Bigravity Model
(Submitted on 23 Nov 2020 (this version), latest version 26 May 2021 (v4))
Abstract: The Weyl-Wigner-Groenewold-Moyal formalism of deformation quantization is applied to the Hassan-Rosen nonlinear massive minimal bigravity theory. The deformation quantization is performed for quantum cosmology of the Friedmann-Lema\^itre-Robertson-Walker model in a flat minisuperspace. The modification of the usual general relativity by Hasan-Rosen minimal bigravity description leads to a de Rham-Gabadadze-Tolley-like ghost-free nonlinear massive gravity theory that ensures cosmological stability with minimally coupled matter fields and induces an interpretation of the mass of graviton as a cosmological constant and as a measure of the deviation of classical behavior of the Wigner functions. The emerging cosmological model is worked out in the phase space and the Wigner functions for the Hartle-Hawking, Vilenkin and Linde boundary conditions are calculated numerically and analytically for the Hartle-Hawking case.
