Title: The Howland-Kato Commutator Problem II

Abstract: We continue the search, begun by Kato, for all pairs of real, bounded, measurable functions $\{f,g\}$ that result in a positive commutator $[if(P),g(Q)]$. We prove a number of partial results including a connection with Loewner's celebrated theorem on matrix monotone functions.
