Abstract: The superconductivity at TC ~ 5 K was recently discovered in the NaxCoO2yH2O compound in which there exist a triangular lattice on two-dimensional CoO2 layers. We have newly investigated superconducting properties of this compound using 59Co NMR measurements. The Knight shift showed an invariant behavior through TC, which indicates a p-wave pairing symmetry. From the result of 1/T1, the coherence peak was clearly observed just below TC, proving the existence of a fully-gapped superconducting state. We conclude that the superconductivity in NaxCoO2yH2O is characterized as a spin-triplet state without any nodes in the gap structure.
