Title: Two types of extended s-wave superconductivity
(Submitted on 6 Jun 2004 (this version), latest version 1 Jul 2004 (v4))
Abstract: A new, unknown, s-wave superconducting solution of the extended Hubbard model is found. By mean-field methods the threshold for appearance of the new solution as well as condition for existence of any kind of superconductivity of the extended s-wave symmetry are calculated. A possibility of the first-order transition within the superconducting solution is discovered and modifications of the phase diagram are calculated. Results of this paper in the limit of low electron density are also applicable to the bound, two-electron pairs.
