Title: Tutorial I: Learning the Principles of Mobile Radio Propagation through Smartphone and CRFO

Abstract: In this tutorial, we present three simple smartphone based experiments for understanding the basic concepts of mobile communications such as pathloss, Shadow fading, and small scale fading. We also explain the use of Collaborative Radio Frequency Observatory (CRFO), an online platform, for visualizing radio coverage maps.
