Title: The non-repetitive colorings of grids

Abstract: A vertex coloring of a graph G is non-repetitive if G contains no path for which the first half of the path is assigned the same sequence of colors as the second half. Thue shows that path P_n is non-repetitively 3-colorable. We prove that the grid P_n x P_n is non-repetitively 12-colorable and extending this method to high-dimensional situations.
