Title: Value distribution of holomorphic curves on Riemann surfaces

Abstract: In this paper, we develop H. Cartan's theory of holomorphic curves by extending the source manifold $\CC$ to the general open Riemann surfaces following Cartan-Nochka's approach and the stochastic method initiated by Carne and developed by Atsuji. Furthermore, we explore a vanishing theorem for logarithmic jet differentials and a Bloch's theorem.
