Title: Phases of Quench Dynamics in the Presence of Fluctuation
(Submitted on 7 May 2022 (this version), latest version 29 Apr 2023 (v2))
Abstract: We study the effect of thermal fluctuation on a sourced quench in a system with $Z_2$ symmetry. We map out a phase diagram for the quench dynamics based on a dynamical relaxation time. We find the Kibble-Zurek scaling exists only below a critical strength of fluctuation in a finite window of quench rate. For very slow quench, relaxation time is set by fluctuation induced thermal mass, giving rise to a new scaling law. For very rapid quench, relaxation time tends to a constant dependent on the strength of fluctuation. We also discuss implications for thermal quench.
