Title: The Quantum Gravitational Back-Reaction On Inflation
(Submitted on 15 Feb 1996 (this version), latest version 4 Oct 1996 (v3))
Abstract: We describe our recent calculation of the dominant late time behavior of the expectation value of the metric at two loops in a locally de Sitter background on the manifold $T^3 \times \Re$. If correct, our result proves that quantum gravitational effects slow the rate of inflation by an amount which becomes non-perturbatively large at late times.
