Title: Orbifold Riemann-Roch for threefolds with an application to Calabi-Yau geometry

Abstract: We prove an orbifold Riemann--Roch formula for a polarized 3--fold (X,D). As an application, we construct new families of projective Calabi--Yau threefolds.
