Title: Hypergeometric tau functions $τ({\bf t},T,{\bf t}^*)$ as $\infty$-soliton tau function in T variables
(Submitted on 30 Apr 2003 (this version), latest version 1 Dec 2003 (v2))
Abstract: We consider the dynamics of hypergeometric tau function $\tau({\bf t},T,{\bf t}^*)$ with respect to the variables $T=\{T_n,n\in Z\}$ when one of the Toda lattice set of higher times is chosen to be $t_k^*=\delta_{k,p}$ . We show that the tau function $\tau({\bf t},T,{\bf t}_\infty), {\bf t}_\infty=(1,0,0,...)$, which is known as KP tau function in variables ${\bf t}$, is, at the same time, $\infty$-soliton Toda lattice tau function, where higher time variables (denoted by ${\tilde{\bf t}},{\tilde{\bf t}}^*$) are constructed in terms of T variables.
