Title: Backbending Effect in Deformed e-e Nuclei

Abstract: An extension of the previously proposed Variable Moment of Inertia with Softness model VMIS has been applied to describe successfully the effect of backbending in some deformed e-e nuclei. The model shows good results in the rare earth and actinide regions.
